After graduating from the Honors program at Trinity College Dublin, Timothy began his career at Sengkang General Hospital (SKGH), where he gained extensive exposure to various disciplines within the acute care setting. This experience taught him how to effectively work with patients of all age groups. In the outpatient physiotherapy setting, Timothy had the opportunity to serve as a clinical educator for undergraduate physiotherapy students from the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). His strong interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy motivated Timothy to pursue a Master’s degree from the University of South Australia to further refine his knowledge and skills, with the aim of providing a high standard of care.
While in South Australia, he had the privilege of serving as the physiotherapist for an amateur soccer club, which provided him with valuable experience in acute injury management and sports coverage for soccer games.
Timothy firmly believes in a holistic, evidence-informed treatment approach that incorporates hands-on techniques and exercises for managing conditions. He collaborates with patients to help them understand their unique conditions and guides them toward achieving their individual goals.
Having been actively involved in taekwondo and fencing, Timothy understands how injuries can hinder sporting performance and appreciates the importance of proper rehabilitation and conditioning for a successful return to sports.
